Research, Policy, and Emerging Needs

YRI partners with OCFS division and bureau staff to conduct research to support the development of best practices and policy recommendations to improve services to youth and families in New York State. YRI may also partner with other public or private organizations to conduct innovative research in the child and family services field.

YRI is also equipped to respond to emerging needs and time-sensitive projects that large, complex agencies may not be nimble enough to implement quickly.
