Opportunity Description:

Youth Research Inc. (YRI) is seeking actors for PAID in-person training simulations. Simulations will include role-playing specific to required in-person NYS Child Welfare case worker training provided by YRI.

  • All roles are open to adults of all ethnicities, ages, and gender identities.

  • Roles include two mothers, one grandparent, and one nine-year-old boy who will be played by an adult actor.

  • Rate of pay is $75 per half day

    • CPSRT – one-half day paid at $75

    • CPSRT Skills Demonstration - 1.5 days paid at $225

  • Compensation is a flat rate - no travel or meals will be reimbursed.

  • Actors are paid as independent contractors and are not YRI employees.

  • Actors may participate in up to two deliveries per week for a total of up to three days per week.

  • All trainings will be held at the Human Services Training Center (HSTC) in Rensselaer, NY

  • Auditions and onboarding are held a number of times a year with rolling start dates.
